Under Armour is committed to supporting teammates’ physical and financial well-being. In addition to benefits like medical plans to protect health, the company provides insurance to protect income.
Under Armour pays the full cost of both short-term and long-term disability, which work together to replace a portion of income if a teammate can’t work due to an illness or injury, including surgery or pregnancy. Full-time teammates are eligible on the first of the month following their hire date.
Short-Term Disability | Coverage begins after seven days if due to sickness; or after zero days if due to accident or childbirth. For up to the first eight (8) weeks, teammates receive 100% of their salary. For up to the next eighteen (18) weeks, they receive 65% of their salary. |
Long-Term Disability | Coverage begins after a teammate has been disabled for 180 days (26 weeks). Teammates receive 60% of their base salary, up to $6,500/month.* |
*Directors and executives may be eligible for additional long-term disability benefits
